Oliva Cigar Co. has had such a strong response to its Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Limited Edition that it has changed its plans. The cigar will become an annual release.
“There was such unbelievable demand for these cigars,” Oliva president Cory Bappert said. “They were sold out in hours in most cases.”
The blend isn’t changing: entirely Nicaraguan, save for the Ecuadoran wrapper leaf.
Each box is lacquered, with a colorful scene from the Oliva farms in Estelí under the lid, and inside there are 12 cigars that measure 5 1/2 inches long by 54 ring.
Distributors in international markets will be able to order the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary for delivery in July.
