Inspired by the symbolism of the Dragon in Chinese culture, the Oliva Year of the Dragon is a testament to the craftsmanship that Oliva Cigars is known for. Each box features a beautiful dragon design, paying homage to the majestic creature and the spirit of the Chinese New Year. The cigars themselves are hand-rolled in the Oliva factory in Esteli using the tobaccos from Nicaragua and a Habano (Sun Grown) wrapper from Ecuador, ensuring a smooth and flavorful smoking experience that aficionados have come to expect from Oliva Cigars.

Speaking about the exclusive release, Thomas Gryson, Export Manager of Oliva Cigars, said, “We are thrilled to introduce the Oliva Year of the Dragon Churchill Cigar in celebration of the Chinese New Year in cooperation with CDF. This limited-edition collection is a true embodiment of our dedication to quality and craftsmanship. About Oliva Cigars:

Melanio Oliva founded the Oliva Cigar Company when he began growing tobacco in Pinar del Rio, Cuba in 1886. By the early 1920s, his son, Facundo, had taken over and continued cultivating the family fields in Cuba for several decades. Later, forced out by the revolution of 1959, he traveled from country to country trying to replicate the terroir of Cuba, passing through Honduras, Panama, Mexico, and even the Philippines before finally settling upon Nicaragua as the best place on the planet to grow cigar tobacco. Today, Oliva is part of the Vandermarliere Cigar Family.
