Drew Estate Releases Liga Privada Year of the Snake

Drew Estate has announced its latest zodiac-themed release, the Liga Privada Unico Serie Year of the Snake, exclusively for the Asian market through CoH Cigars of Hong Kong. The release continues the company’s tradition of zodiac-themed cigars that began with the Year of the Rat in 2016.

The Year of the Snake, crafted to celebrate the Chinese New Year, comes in a 7″ x 44 Lonsdale vitola and will be packaged in 10-count boxes. The blend features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Connecticut Corojo binder, with a filler blend combining tobaccos from Nicaragua, Brazil, and the United States. According to Drew Estate, the cigar offers a balanced and complex profile with a peppery kick, characteristics chosen to reflect the snake’s enigmatic and potent nature.

“It’s an honor for Drew Estate to participate in such an important cultural moment,” says Jonathan Drew, company Founder and President. “We’ve worked on the ‘Year of’ project for quite a long time and it seems to have an impact on people who wish to bring two distinct rituals together for celebration and reflection.”

The release marks another milestone in Drew Estate’s zodiac series, which has become a notable part of their limited edition offerings. The tradition began with the Year of the Rat in 2016.

This latest addition to the Liga Privada Unico Serie will be distributed exclusively through CoH Cigars Hong Kong, with the release scheduled for January 29, 2025—timing that aligns with the Lunar New Year celebrations. The release is specifically tailored for the Asian market, being distributed exclusively through CoH Cigars Hong Kong.
