Drew Estate has introduced a new Liga Privada Unico Serie exclusive for the international market called Papas Bravas.
This blend features a Connecticut broadleaf oscuro wrapper, a Brazilian mata fina binder, and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. Drew Estate describes it as full-bodied, with flavors of licorice, black pepper, herbal notes, and a touch of sweet spice.
It is available in two sizes: a 5 x 54 Robusto and a 6 x 52 Toro, both featuring a pigtail cap. The name is a clever twist on Drew Estate’s popular Papas Fritas size. While “papas fritas” translates to “French fries,” “papas bravas” refers to a traditional fried potato dish from Spain.
